I’m not sure what kind of a yarn the seaman is spinning here, but I have to imagine it’s been a harrowing time at sea! This is a masterclass in ambient drone; vibrant, cinematic, and rich with noise.

Since this came out a year and five days ago it has slowly become my favourite Nadja album, even after Touched, Dagdröm, Radiance of Shadows and The Stone is Not Hit by the Sun.... An absolute masterpiece. Nadja may not be the most well known drone-doom band in the world, but I am sure future generations will very much appreciate this band all the more.
