John Cratchley I like Aidan's work (there's more in my collection) but I was chiefly intrigued to set this album next to Noel Akchote's interpretations of Bach (also in my collection).
I wanted to see how two very different avant-garde guitarists would approach this task...how they would deconstruct and reinterpret such sublime music.
Well, I think the results are fascinating but,perhaps it would be best if you decided for yourselves (if that kind of process interests you).
